Andean Trails Expeditions

Guides who grew up on these trails — and pay them properly.

Andean Trails is a guiding collective from Salento and the Sierra Nevada: every guide grew up on the trails they now walk with you. Day loops through the Cocora wax palms run at dawn, before the crowds; the three-day coffee traverse sleeps on working farms; and the full Ciudad Perdida crossing is led with Wiwa community guides who share the history of the Lost City as their own.

Group sizes cap at eight, porters are paid above the regional standard, and a share of every trek funds the trail-maintenance minga each season. Book two weeks ahead in high season (December–March, July–August).
